Filming & Production

Marlin Productions is able to assist you with any DVD project, from a simple in-house training production to a huge multi-camera shoot.

We can assist with all stages of the production process, from initial planning, story boarding, through filming to post production in our own Apple in-house editing suite. We can also deal with DVD cover design, reproduction and sales.

We also have experience with blue screen and virtual studio work and can develop a virtual studio to meet you own corporate needs.

Postgraduate Educationalists

We are not only qualified adult teachers with Certificates in Education, but also have considerable experience in the design and production of educational materials.

Extreme Environments

If your production is a little ‘off the beaten track’ that presents no problem for Marlin. We have experience as instructors in climbing, caving, and scuba-diving. So no matter where your production might be, we can most likely deal with it. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

DVD Authoring

Should you have current projects on video, we can also assist in creating a DVD from your current materials. This can have all the features of a Hollywood style disc and prevent the degradation of tape based media.

We utilise Apple’s DVD Studio Pro to create DVDs that are not merely built to a ‘standard’ menu, but incorporate custom menus to suit your needs. We also use motion graphics programs to create moving logos and customised motion menus (such as on Hollywood DVDs) to give your project a customised and professional image.

Sales and Marketing

If you wish to sell your DVD commercially, via the big chains, such as WHSmith or Amazon.co.uk, then you will need to have your DVD bar coded and set up a distribution deal. Most of the big distributors will not deal with small productions, but Marlin is a distributor in its own right, so we can handle all of this for you. We can also sell your DVD through our own online store.
