Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
Marlin Productions are just about to launch a VLE or on-line learning solution to complement our Anatomy and Physiology manual.
Online Marking
After working through each chapter in the manual, either in class or at home, students will then log in to our website and answer the questions online, instead of filling in the workbook sections. They will then get an instant grade and be able to print out the quiz for inclusion in their portfolio. Tutors will have access to all student work, such as grades and also their answers so you can see where someone is going wrong. These reports are downloadable in several formats, such as text or excel.
Additional Features
In addition the system will have forums and chats etc, so students can get help and support both from us, and from you. We are also planning to have extra learning materials, such as video clips, to enhance, but not replace the manual. There will also be a tutor only area, where you can contact Marlin and ask for help, or flag up problems or make suggestions. it will also contain extra download sheets etc.

The system should be going live in a couple of weeks (by the end of November), maybe less and will have a demonstration course for tutors to evaluate. If you are interested then please contact us for a username and password.
